2017 Shine for Love
Fundraising Show

Introduction:

Able2Shine Foundation is a non-profit with a focus on soft-skill cultivation among young Asian Americans. It carries out social responsibility through charity fundraising and community services.

We have organized in the past two years more than 100 events including performances, fundraising, mentorship and trainings. On a solid track record of community services and social responsibility, we keep sending children performers to senior homes at holiday seasons, collaborated with other organizations to donate for special needs children, inferno-devastated Napa Valley and Sonoma County schools, orchestrated cross-cultural activities and sponsored Chinese art troupes to showcase in Bay Area schools.

This is the second year that our Foundation initiates fundraiser to help special needs children.

In 2017, through a grand-scale variety show and by uniting different communities, we were able to collect about $40,000 for FCSN and the Silver Lining Foundation.

This year, we are honored to work with two respectable organizations - Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN, http://www.fscn1996.org) and Joey’s Wings Foundation (http://www.joeywings.org), to raise funds and social awareness for special needs children, as well as kidney cancer research and treatment for young patients.
