2017 Shine for Love
Fundraising Show

A charity relay on May 12, the event is composed of two variety shows and charity auctions mainly operated by volunteers. We aim at raising social awareness of, and donation, to support the underprivileged groups including special needs children, as well as advocate for cancer research and treatment of children and young adults.

We are honored to work with two respectable organizations this year - Friends of Children with Special Needs ( FCSN, http://www.fcsn1996.org) and Joey’s Wings Foundation (http://www.joeywings.org) - to go beyond geographic and ethnic boundaries and have our messages heard.

This is the second year that our Foundation has initiated charity fundraiser to help special needs children. In 2017, through a grand-scale variety show of the same kind and by uniting different communities, the Able2Shine Foundation was able to collect a total donation of around $40,000 for FCSN and the Silver Lining Foundation, which offers educational assistance to children and their families in China’s impoverished areas.

As a non-profit organization of two years, our Foundation is young and full of passion. We are determined to join hands with different groups and people of various backgrounds, to make the world a better place for everyone.

We have a solid track record of community services and social responsibility. We keep sending children performers to senior homes at holiday seasons; we collaborated with other organizations to donate $15k for inferno-devastated Napa Valley and Sonoma county; we orchestrated many cross-cultural exchanges by sponsoring art troupes to enter schools across the Bay Area.

We believe each one is able to shine for the right cause.

Thank you for your participation. We look forward to working with you together.
